Alex Abrines looks to be on his way to Oklahoma City according to a Eurohoops.net report. The Spaniard has reportedly reached a 3-year, $18 million deal to join the Thunder from Barcelona.
Oklahoma City drafted the 6-foot-6 Abrines with the 32nd pick in the 2013 draft. He shot nearly 42 percent from behind the arc for Barcelona in 2015-16 and earned Euroleague’s Rising Star Trophy. Abrines will play for Spain in the Olympics next month.
The addition of Abrines makes it less likely the Thunder match an offer on restricted free agent Dion Waiters.
