Oklahoma State University is working to hammer out problems with a new payroll system. Several employees have voiced their concerns, worried they won't get paid.

A group of grad students and faculty were told they may not be paid until next month. But an official with OSU told News 9 all personnel will be paid on time despite some problems with new payroll software.

The fear of getting a late check prompted an English department employee to create a GoFundMe page. Charissa Prchal said the money will help pay bills and buy groceries for anyone who isn't paid a full check or gets a late check.

So far that page has raised $650.

We asked OSU about this fundraising effort. A university official told us payroll will be on time, and that Prchal is not collecting money on behalf of the University.

A university official told the Stillwater News Press that some employees will get a paper check due to the issues.
