Firefighters are looking into the cause of a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City, Friday morning.
According to the fire department, at about 6:30 a.m. crews responded to the fire at a vacant house in the 8300 block of Mckee Blvd. Someone walking by saw smoke coming out of the home and knocked on the door. But no one answered. The passerby then called 911.
The family who lives at the home was only three miles away feeding horses when it caught fire.
Reporter Tiffany Liou spoke with the family, who said they have lived there for about 28 years.
Crews were able to put out the fire. A cause has not been determined.
No one was injured.
