Something you might notice walking into the C & R Print shop in Chickasha is actually right outside the door: Blood Stains. Owner Craig McClellan says it all started with an argument across the street.

“It’s not out of the ordinary for that house,” McClellan said.

Court papers say Jacob Phillips showed up at his house and stabbed the victim after accusing him of stealing a necklace. When the victim tried to run away Phillips allegedly chased him with a knife.

“He tried to quit when he saw the guy had a knife and he started backing up, but the guy went after him after he cut him the first time, he went after him a second time,” McClellan said.

The victim ran to McClellan's business where he waited, bleeding with a large cut on his hand. McClellan says he was able to call 911 with a description of Phillips, and even snapped pictures of him trying to leave the scene.

"These guys want to frighten you, but they’re not frightening people. They’re a bunch of thugs and when you have thugs like that, you get the police involved and they take care of it.”

Phillips was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and driving with a suspended license.
