Stillwater Police Arrest Suspect In Bank Robbery

Stillwater police arrested a man accused of robbing a bank Tuesday morning.

According to police, at about 10:40 a.m., officers responded to a hold-up alarm at The Bank N.A. located at 800 W. 6th. Officers were outside as the suspect, 59-year-old John Christian Kolch, was leaving the bank. He was arrested at the scene.

Police said Kolch was not armed with any weapons at the time of his arrest.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is conducting the follow-up investigation in this case and charges will be pursued through the U.S. Attorney’s office.
