Police have identified a man who was found shot to death in the parking lot of an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City.
According to police, early Sunday morning, officers responded to the report of a shooting at an apartment complex near N.W. 19th Street and Meridian Avenue. Multiple witnesses reported hearing a heated argument followed by the sound of a gunshot.
Officers arrived and found the victim, later identified as 39-year-old Billy Edwards Jr. suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene.
