Oklahomans Mostly Concerned About Economy And Education

With less than a month until the general election, we asked Oklahomans what they feel are the most important issues. 

In an exclusive News 9 poll conducted last week: 

- 38 percent said the economy matters most, which includes taxes and job creation. 

- 31 percent are concerned most with education. 

- 21 percent said social issues like abortion and marriage protection are most important. 

We also asked about the state question directly affecting teachers will be on your ballot next month. 

Question 779 would increase the state sales tax by one cent to provide 5-thousand dollar raises for teachers.
