Crews have successfully extinguished a house fire near NW 17th St. and Villa Ave.
Firefighters were called out to the scene in the 2500 block of NW 17th St. around 11:30 a.m.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time, but authorities tell News 9 the homeowner was able to safely make it outside. No injuries have been reported.
