A tornado is confirmed to have touched down near the town of Springer, Oklahoma in Carter County, Friday evening.
The twister formed east of the town of Springer, headed in a northeasterly direction toward Falls Creek. News 9 Storm Tracker Val Castor captured the tornado as it formed.
Debris has been reported falling from the sky in the area.
