OSBI Investigating Inmate's Death At The Oklahoma County Jail

Authorities are investigating after an inmate was found dead at the Oklahoma County Jail on Wednesday.

The sheriff's office said the death appears to be a suicide but the cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner's office.

Investigators with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) are not releasing the circumstances surrounding the inmate’s death until their investigation is concluded. 

The deceased inmate was identified by Nhan Thanh Nguyen, 46. Nguyen was booked into the jail in November for outstanding warrants of shooting with intent to kill and assault and battery. He was recently sentenced to the Department of Corrections.
