OKCPD Arrests One In Connection With Early Sunday Homicide

Oklahoma City Police arrested a man they say is responsible for the stabbing death of a woman early Sunday morning.

Police say Manuel Cruz, 25, stabbed his girlfriend, Marta Ortega, 47, multiple times. Ortega was found by police in a car near SE 15th and Shields. She was taken to a hospital where she died.

Cruz is facing a first degree murder charge.
