Chicago Cheesy Corn

  • 13 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons dried mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • One stick unsalted butter melted
  1. Preheat oven to 250°.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Put the cheddar cheese powder, cayenne pepper, sea salt, and dried mustard in a small bowl and stir together.
  4. Place the popcorn in a large mixing bowl and drizzle the corn with melted butter.
  5. Toss together the popcorn and evenly coat with butter.
  6. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese powdered mixture over the corn and again store together to evenly coat.
  7. Place the corn on the parchment lined baking sheet and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Halfway through cooking time to start the corn around a bit so it evenly dries.
  9. Once the corn is done baking remove from the oven and allow to cool.
  10. Store the Popcorn in an air-tight container.
