Pedestrian Reportedly Struck By Vehicle On NB I-235

Emergency crews were called to a three-vehicle crash on the northbound side of Interstate 235.

First responders initially responded to the crash, reportedly involving a pedestrian, on NB I-235, between NE 50th Street and the I-44 interchange. Those reports were apparently false.

An official cause for the crash has not yet been determined. The collision caused traffic on NB I-235 to be backed up for several miles. The scene was cleared of all three vehicles around 12:30 p.m.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
