Guthrie is diving headfirst into the holiday season with a territorial celebration.
Guthrie's Territorial Christmas includes a parade where all the floats are decked out in Christmas lights.
Celebrations also include tours of historic homes and buildings as well as Victorian walks where the community comes together to show visitors what Christmas in the Territory was like.
"As far as the shop owners, we all have an incredibly huge passion for Guthrie, so coming out here and getting a true sense of community, I think is what people really love about Guthrie," said Abigail Ropp of the Territorial Christmas committee.
The City said they are adding two open-air movies and food trucks to this year's celebrations.
Downtown shops are also working on *live window displays.
Guthrie's Territorial Christmas's opening night and parade is at 6 p.m. Saturday.
The historical building tours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on December 9.
The Victorian walks will be held on from 5 to 9 p.m. on December 9 and 16.
