Woman Dies After Crashing Vehicle Into Moore Pond

A woman is dead after crashing a vehicle into a pond in Moore, Tuesday evening. 

According to police, officers were initially responding to a call about a reckless driver, shortly before 7 p.m.

Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle submerged in a pond at 34th and Santa Fe. 

Police said an unconscious woman was pulled from the vehicle, and she was then transported to a local hospital. She was pronounced dead a short time later. 

At this time, a dive team is still on scene searching for other possible victims. The official cause of the accident has not been released.
