The Turnpike Authority voted Tuesday to increase tolls by 2.5 percent.
It might not seem like much, but this is in addition to the 12 percent increase turnpike drivers are already paying.
Before that, turnpike tolls haven't risen since 2009, according to Oklahoma Turnpike Authority officials.
Funds raised from this hike will help fund improvement and expansion on state turnpikes.
The latest 2.5 percent hike goes into effect next month.
Another toll increase in expected in July 2019 and that will also be a 2.5 percent increase.
