Police Investigate Deadly Crash In SW OKC

One person is dead after a crash early Friday in southwest Oklahoma City.

The crash happened about 4:40 a.m. near SW 44 and Newcastle Road. A car and a minivan collided near a stop sign. 

The minivan did not see the car, which had its headlights turned off, and pulled into the intersection.

One person from the car was pronounced dead at the scene. She was identified as 46-year-old Marguerietta Boone. 

Police are searching for one person who walked away from the car.
