One In Hospital After Armed Robbery In NW OKC

A man is in the hospital after being shot during an armed robbery in northwest Oklahoma City Sunday evening, Oklahoma City Police said.

The incident happened at an apartment complex near NW 47th and Blackwelder. Two suspects demanded the victim hand over his wallet. When he didn't, he was shot in the leg. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The two suspects fled the scene. Police did not provide a description.
