Police are searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery of a video store in Edmond, Monday night.
Police were called to Family Video Movies in Edmond, a little before 11 p.m., in reference to the reported armed robbery.
According to report, an employee was counting a register when an unknown male wearing a black hoodie, black beanie cap and red bandana over his face entered the video store.
Police said the suspect pointed a silver revolver at the employee, and asked for the money from the register. The victim said the weapon appeared to be a toy, as the suspect seemed to be pulling the trigger, and the gun made a popping sound.
The suspect took the money from the register, and then attempted to exit through the “in” door. The victim told the suspect that he would not be able to get out that way. The suspect then ran to the “out” door and began to travel eastbound on foot.
Officials said the victim did not see a vehicle involved.
According to report, the victim said she was unsure if the suspect was wearing gloves or not. Police were, however, able to get fingerprints from the first door the suspect attempted to exit from.
No arrests have been made.
