The "all clear" has been given following a suspicious package investigation in a southwest Oklahoma City neighborhood on Tuesday.

Crews with the Oklahoma City Police bomb squad evacuated a one-block radius around the scene in the 2800 block of Texoma Dr., located near SW 48th Street and S. May Avenue. The "package" was located near a gas meter in the area, prompting extra precaution from police.

Authorities were also forced to shut down S. May, between SW 44th St. and SW 52nd St., for more than an hour while the bomb squad investigated.

May was re-opened just after 4 p.m. So far, police have not said what was inside of the package or to whom it belonged.
