Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City is on track to have a record travel year.
Will Rogers staff estimate close to 4 million people will have traveled through the airport here throughout 2017.
They'll be seeing a huge spike in passengers over the next two weeks.
"We're expecting about 117,000 people coming through the airports. That's putting us on track to a record year here at Will Rogers," WRWA spokeswoman Karen Carney said.
The airport's previous record travel year was in 2014 when 3.8 million people passed through.
Airport staff say part of the expected travel boom is tied to people flying to bowl games.
Those traveling through Will Rogers and other airports throughout the country should count on arriving extra early and dealing with longer than usual lines.
An increased number of airport staff will be on hand to help deal with everything including winter weather.
