Police are looking for a man who crashed a stolen car into a field in Southeast Oklahoma City overnight.
About 2:30 a.m. an officer spotted a stolen car and attempted to pull the driver over, but by the time the officer caught up to the vehicle the driver had crashed.
The car, which was in some tall grass, near Grand Blvd. and Magnolia St., was towed away around 3 a.m.
Officers, police helicopters and canine units assisted in the unsuccessful search for driver. A perimeter was also set up several blocks wide.
The active search was later called off.
