A man is accused of spitting and hitting police officers Thursday morning in northeast Oklahoma City, according to court documents.
Aaron Hall, 32, was arrested on complaints of assault and battery on a police officer and throwing bodily fluids on a state employee.
About 8 a.m. Thursday, an officer was assisting an arrest being made at NE 13 and Lottie. When the officer arrived, the man was already in custody.
The man was arrested by a police detective in civilian clothing, but his badge and gun were visible, according to the probable cause affidavit.
The man began cursing and yelling then started balling his fists and lunging at the officer.
The arresting officers said the man spit at them and the man swung a closed fist at the head of the uniformed officer, hitting him under his right eye.
The probable cause affidavit did not disclose why police were called to the area.
Hall was booked into the Oklahoma County jail and is being held on a $8,000 bond.
