Authorities are searching for a convicted sex offender who failed to report to a Texas halfway house.

Jerry Don Seib is a fugitive wanted for a parole violation on the original charge of a sex crime, officials said.

Seib was convicted on five counts of indecency with child in Kerr County, Texas and is considered a high risk sex offender.

Seib, 53, is a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, approximately 200 lbs, bald with blue eyes, a scar on his left eyebrow and a tattoo on his right ankle. He has violent tendencies and a history of narcotics use, according to officers.
