Fire Crews Battle Fully Involved House Fire In Newalla

Firefighters battled a fully involved house fire Sunday in Newalla.

The Newalla Fire Department responded shortly after 1 p.m. to the 5200 block of Vernon Dr. near Southeast 59th Street and South Harrah Road.

Harrah Fire and Oklahoma City Fire were called to assist with manpower.

Fire officials said tanker trucks had to bring in water to help extinguish the flames. 

No one was home at the time of the fire. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
