The latest challenge making its way around social media is #TiptheBill.

It can be a hard life for service industry workers who get paid below minimum wage and have to rely on tips from customers. Cue the #TiptheBillChallenge sweeping social media.

People are snapping photos of their receipts after tipping the total amount of their check.

#tipthebillchallenge Just so everyone knows, servers don't make an HOURLY wage! The "2.13" an hr that they do "get" is taxed in accordance with how much we make in tips. Last week I my paycheck was 0.30 cents ????
