Two people were taken to jail after leading Oklahoma City police on an early morning chase on the southwest side.

Police said they attempted a traffic stop for an illegal tag display before the suspects lead police on a chase with speeds of up to 100 miles per hour

Cops tried to pull the suspect vehicle over for the traffic infraction just after 1:00 a.m. near southwest 29th Street and Linn. The car sped off through the south side rather than stop, at some points entering onto I-44

The suspect crashed the car into a fence narrowly missing a house. No one was injured.

But both suspects then took off on foot.

Investigators on the ground said they then released police dogs which were eventually caught the suspects.

Police learned both suspects had warrants for their arrests.

Police said the suspects will also be facing complaints relate to the pursuit.
