Runoff Election To Determine Winner Of OKC's Ward 7 Seat

The race to fill Oklahoma City's Council open Ward 7 seat will be determined in a runoff. 

Nikki Nice and Kirk Pankratz won the most votes in a race with six other candidates Tuesday night.

Nice and Pankratz are seeking to fill the unexpired term of John A. Pettis Jr. who resigned effective May 31 after facing a criminal charge. 

Residents from northeast Oklahoma City will determine who will be their next councilmember on Nov. 6.
