Flash flooding caused multiple road closures and paralyzed the afternoon commute for many in Edmond.

The afternoon commute for many in the northern part of the Oklahoma City metro was affected by the flooding.

Several major thoroughfares in Edmond were closed and drivers involved in minor/non-injury wrecks were told take pictures of the wreck and to exchange information.

Officers could not respond to all due to flooding on Kelly and the traffic light outage on 2nd and Interstate 35.
