Suspect Arrested After Canadian County Pursuit

One person has been arrested following a police pursuit in Canadian County, Sunday afternoon. 

According to officials, Canadian County police attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Route 66 and Hwy 81. 

The suspect refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit that ended with the suspect vehicle going off road in southwest Minco. The suspect attempted to flee on foot but collapsed, and was taken into police custody. 

Officials said the suspect was transported to a nearby hospital for his altered level of consciousness and suspected ingestion of drugs. 

NARCAN was administer on the scene, and determined the suspect was not under the influence of an opioid. 

Officials have not released the name of the suspect, but they said he is wanted out of Caddo County for felony warrants. 

The suspect current condition is unknown.
