We are entering the last weekend of the Oklahoma State Fair and so far, organizers say they have experienced good crowds.

But with those crowds come the need for added security. If you've been to the fair this year you would have noticed the large presence of Oklahoma City police officers.

A lot of them are off-duty but police still tell News 9 things have been quiet for the most part.

As of Thursday afternoon there have been seven reported larcenies, 12 arrests (9 of which were misdemeanors), 2 stolen cars and 2 auto burglaries. News 9  also reached out to the Sheriff's Department to find out how many people were taken the temporary holding facility located in the safety center in the fairgrounds.

Deputies said they haven't made any arrests but they did have information on people brought into the onsite safety center or jail.

Last week four people were taken to jail and four juveniles were released to their parents.

This week an additional four adults were taken to jail, and two others were taken to detox.

Additionally the fair is patrolled by 24-hour security.
