OHP Investigating Deadly Crash In Midwest City

Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a deadly wreck in Midwest City Sunday.

The accident occurred around 11 a.m. on I-40 and Sooner Road.

Officials said the driver of a Dodge Charger was going west bound on I-40 at a high rate of speed. According to report, the driver hit the curb upon exiting the highway causing the vehicle to cross the service road, and T-bone a second vehicle.

Authorities said the driver of the second vehicle died at the scene. Two other passengers in the second vehicle were taken to the hospital.  

The identity of the victim is unknown at this time. The driver of the Charger was also taken to the hospital.
