Police are still looking for a suspect that went on the run, managing to get out a patrol car Wednesday.
Moore Police said Walter Blount was last seen driving away in a stolen vehicle. This all started when police were called to the Hayden's Landings Apartments near Northeast 12th Street and Eastern Avenue.
Police went to the complex around 2 a.m. after getting a report of people trying to break into vehicles. There they arrested Walter Blount and two others.
Surveillance video from the police cruiser shows Blount handcuffed in the back of the car somehow managing to escape. Then he made a run for it.
About four hours later a resident nearby said she found Blount in her truck.
"So I opened the door like this and he's sitting right there. I said what are you doing in my truck and he was all disoriented like this and said please don't call the cops," said Jenna Alexander.
Blount ended up running away. Eventually police said they saw the suspect driving away in another vehicle.
Police briefly chased the truck but called it off because of the weather. The two other people who were also arrested are currently in the the Cleveland County Jail.
Police urge anyone with information on Blount to call them at (405) 793-5171.
