The estranged wife of a Pottawatomie County man accused of attacking her and two of her sons with a machete, says he shouldn’t be allowed to bond out of jail.
Mary Logan says she took out a restraining order against her husband, 46-year-old John Logan, a day before he ambushed the family Thursday, October 4, at their home.

Logan says she plans to be in court Tuesday morning, to urge the judge not to allow her husband to bond out of jail.
“God had his hand on all of us, or we would have been planning at least three funerals this week,” Logan said.
Logan says her 20-year-old son Patrick O’Ryan is doing a little better at OU Medical Center.
The blow from one of the machete’s penetrated his brain, she said.
A Facebook fundraising campaign has been set up to help with Patrick O’Ryan’s medical bills. Click here for more details.
