Mike Hunter Wins Election For State AG

Incumbent Mike Hunter has secured another term as Oklahoma attorney general.

Hunter beat Democratic challenger Mark Myles in Tuesday’s general election.

Hunter declared himself the winner after about 80 percent of the precincts were tallied.

Gov. Mary Fallin appointed Hunter to the position of attorney general after Scott Pruitt was tapped by President Donald Trump to lead the EPA.

Hunter barely won the Republican nomination in a runoff against Gentner Drummond.
