A scare for shoppers in Edmond Saturday night, when a van crashed into the Famous Footwear in the shopping center near 2nd and Bryant.

Police say an equipment malfunction of some sort led to the crash.

No one was hurt.

According to deputies, two reports have been taken in the last two weeks from people who tried to buy a car online. Both victims used different sites, but told deputies the sellers wanted to be paid in gift cards before shipping the cars.
