One person was shot in a drive-by shooting in Bricktown around 1 a.m. on Sunday.

Oklahoma City police say the individual was standing outside near Vince Gill and Sheridan Avenue when a red 4-door sedan drove by. They say shots were fired and that person was struck and then transported to a nearby hospital.

Several bullets struck the front of “The Bridge” Church and Coffee Shop.  Rodney Wardwell is the Pastor there.

“It makes us aware just like any type of incident around the nation, it causes you to once again rethink your security measures, and things of that nature,” he said.

Wardwell says his church is equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras, that the Oklahoma City Police Department he says are free to look at.

However Sunday he wasn’t able to access any of the video those cameras captured.

The shooting occurred just one block from OKCPD’s Bricktown substation.

The injuries are unknown at this time.
