Depending on where you were in the Oklahoma City metro Thursday afternoon, you saw some pretty good snow. Or just some slush or freezing rain. As News 9's Chief Meteorologist David Payne would say, it's been a "mixed bag" of winter weather across Oklahoma.
The winter storm has made its way out of Oklahoma, but has left a mess Friday morning.
Oklahoma almost doubled the average amount of snow that we typically see in January, in Thursday's snowfall alone.
Much of the state is experiencing slick road conditions.
There is some good news on the horizon, however. Once this storm moves out, warmer air moves in. Oklahoma will see upper 40s by the weekend and 60s by early next week. There are no winter storms on the 9 day forecast.
