Officials Investigate Body Found In SE OKC As Homicide

Officials are investigating a homicide after a body was found in southeast Oklahoma City.

According to officials, the body was found in the 600 block of Southeast 31st Street and South Byers Avenue.

Officials said officers responded about 5 a.m. to the area for a noise disturbance.

Police describe the deceased body as a Hispanic male.

The victim suffered from gunshot wounds, officials said.

There are currently no identified witnesses or suspects.

Police said the death is being investigated as the city's ninth homicide of 2019.
