One person was killed Friday night in Warr Acres, police said.

About 11:15 p.m. Friday, police were called to the Summer Place Apartments in the 5900 block of NW 34th Street.

When officers arrived, they found Eddie Betancourt, 36, dead at the scene. Police said he appeared to have "signs of injuries consistent to a homicide."
