Crews Battle OKC House Fire Near Linwood, Blackwelder

Firefighters battled a vacant house fire in Northwest Oklahoma City, Wednesday morning.

Firefighters battled a house fire Wednesday in Oklahoma City.

According to a fire department spokesperson, crews were called to a blaze near Linwood Boulevard and North Blackwelder Avenue.

Authorities said the fire was started by somebody cooking near the house.

The fire caused around $20,000 to $30,000 in damage, fire officials said.
