Saturday's severe storms caused damage and excitement across the metro.

Videos and photos sent from a viewer show a hole in the Edmond Walmart skylights with hail coming in. Another viewer also in Edmond sent us this photo of a broken skylight in a home at the height of the storm. As winds and hail moved northeast through the metro area for most of the early evening

Others moved cars or sat under shelter to avoid possible damage. The hail quickly melted, leaving sunshine behind. The metro came out of spring's first big storm with minimal damage but quite a few photos of golf ball sized hail. A gentle reminder to be prepared for potential severe weather to come.
