Voters were split on two Norman bond proposals Tuesday.
Voters passed a $72 million transportation bond to fund road projects and to build a traffic management center, with 66 percent voting “yes” and 34 percent voting “no.”
But voters rejected a $60 million stormwater improvement bond that would have funded improvements to reduce flooding and address water pollution in Norman. That vote was 57 percent “no” to 42 percent “yes.”
Additionally, voters also rejected a stormwater utility fee that would have generated funds to maintain the stormwater plan.
