The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office says they are looking for a man after he and a woman committed armed robberies in Texas and Oklahoma over the weekend.

Investigators say 30-year old Lawrence Lewis and 23-year old Alexis Nugent began their crime spree in Northern Texas with a pursuit, then stole a vehicle and made their way to Oklahoma. Once the pair made their way to Ardmore they stole another vehicle and drove up to Deer Creek where they committed an armed robbery. The pair eventually made their way to Edmond, deputies say they robbed a Dollar General near East Waterloo Road and North Coltrane Road.

Logan County Sheriff's deputies and Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers pursued the pair and were able to take Nugent into custody. Lewis was able to get away on foot and is still on the run.

Nugent is in the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of accessory to armed robbery. If you have information regarding Lewis' whereabouts please call 911.

This is a developing story.
