Braum's Manager Pistol-Whipped During Del City Robbery

A Braum's manager was pistol-whipped Saturday night during a robbery in Del City, police reported.

Police were called about 11 p.m. Saturday in reference to a robbery at Braum's at 4300 SE 43rd Street.

Employees told police a male entered the restaurant just before closing and hid in the women's bathroom.

When the business was closed, the male exited the bathroom and ran to the back where the employees were working. The robber grabbed a female employee and put a gun to the back of her head, police said.

The robber forced the employee to the front of the store where the manager was counting money. The robber ordered the manager to give him money and pistol-whipped the manager, police said.

The robber got away through an unsecured drive thru window with an undisclosed amount of money.
