Police were chasing a vehicle near downtown Oklahoma City.

One person has been detained after a police chase near downtown Oklahoma City.

Officers were chasing the vehicle on Interstate 40 before the vehicle turned off into southwest Oklahoma City.

The suspect got out of the vehicle near SW 12th and McKinley.

Officers detained one person nearby a short time later.
