A police standoff that lasted several hours finally ends peacefully with an arrest in northwest Oklahoma City.
Police said they were dispatched near northwest 164th Street and Council for a domestic call where the standoff lasted seven hours.
When Police arrived they found a male with a gun in a front yard. Officers said there were several times the man fired rounds up into the air and made advances on officers without pointing a gun at them.
Officers said they thought his was to see how police would respond then he would run back in the house.
Eventually negotiators were able to talk him into coming outside. Then less lethal devices were used. The suspect was taken to the hospital but officers said he's uninjured.
The suspect has not been identified.
