Crews Respond To Semi Rollover Accident Near McLoud

Crews were called to the scene of an accident involving a semi and a truck near McLoud, Thursday morning.

Officials shut down some lanes of westbound I-40 near Highway 102, south of McLoud around 3 a.m.

When officials arrived on scene, the semi was on its side and crews worked to rescue the driver whose foot was trapped inside. 

A white truck involved in the accident fell in a ditch. The back bed of the truck appeared to be smashed in. 

Crews said both drivers were transported to the hospital out of precaution. A passenger in the pickup truck was also transported to the hospital. 

Officials said clean-up could take a few hours.
