For the past two months, Gov Fallin's name has appeared on the VP watch list. She has met Trump four times and while they've talked issues such as Obamacare, Syrian refugees, and the economy and energy, there have been no specific conversations about joining the ticket.
Fallin said while their styles of communication are drastically different, “Well, we do have different personalities, but I think we share a common passion. And that is the love of America and wanting to see America do well, wanting to make sure that we are safe and secure.”
Even if she is not on the ticket, the Governor will have a vital role at the convention. She's the national co-chair for the party's platform, and the Republican Governor's Association. And she could be tapped to speak again at the convention.
Fallin said this is a critical time for the country.
And she said this of prominent Republicans who will not be in Cleveland this month.
“That is there choice there are many former presidents who don’t come. If they don’t want to be there and be part of the process that is their choice. I’m going to be there because I care about America and I care about our future, and I want to be part of the process. If you want to be part of the process you better suit up and get on the field.”
