On News 9 at 4, Sassy Mama shows Karl and Bobbie the proper way to prepare peaches.
-- 1 large Stock pot
-- Lemon juice
Score ripe peaches with an X on the bottom with a sharp knife.
Set the stock pot filled with water on the stove top and heat over high heat until it begins to boil.
Carefully add peaches to the water and allow them to boil for two minutes.
Fill another bowl with ice water and transfer the peaches from the boiling water into the ice water and allow them to sit for one minute, and then the skins will easily peel off the peaches.
Cut up the peaches as you desire either in chunks, slices or halves and drizzle with lemon juice. This will help the peaches not turn brown.
